2009-10 Revolution Teaching/Topic Schedule
REV AM- 9am-10:10 Sundays Room 200
Come join us this fall as we grapple with some of the tough questions of the Christian faith. This year will involve hanging out, games, teaching and small groups. This year’s REV am will involve a interactive web aspect where you will get to go online and choose the games we play on Sunday mornings. Following REV am we encourage you to head over to the worship service or serve in children’s ministry.
REV PM- 6:30-8:00 Wednesdays Room 200
This year’s REV PM is going to involve high energy nights that will include music, games, teaching and discussion. We also hope to involve more variety in the program. The following will be the general format of REV PM, however check the calendar to make sure you know what is happening.
First Wednesday- SUPER GROUP- If there is any night to bring a friend it is this night. There will often be a theme to these nights, we will play more extended games, have or drama and music teams perform, and have a short message. Some 1st Wednesdays will not have REV to allow families to serve at food outreach.
2nd and 3rd Wednesday- These nights we will have both a large group and small group aspect of the night as we touch on topics that are relevant to your everyday life.
4th Wednesday- ALL SMALL GROUP NIGHT- Students will not come to church this night and will meet in designated homes for an extended small group time. This will allow small groups more time to build relationships and have longer discussion times. Check you mailbox to find out where your group will be going.
5th Wednesday- When there is a 5th Wednesday we will be doing something special like a service project, all worship night, or fun event.
STRIVE-
Strive is our student leader program for junior high students. It is open to all students that are willing to commit to serving in the student ministry and their realm of influence. Strive students commit to meeting once a month for a time of discipleship, and they are invited to the Bethel Junior High Leadership retreat in Feb. If interested in applying to become a part of STRIVE download this form, fill out and turn in the youth office by Sept 23rd.
